Japanese Mint Essential Oil (Organic)
Japanese Mint Essential Oil (Mentha piperita) is Therapeutic Quality Essential Oil steam distilled from the herbs.
Uses: Peppermint has been in use for a long, long time. It is mentioned in the Ebers Papyrus from Egypt, which dates to about 1500 BC, and there are even older references on temple walls to its use as one of the ingredients of Kyphi, sacred incense blended from several herbs.
The Egyptians cultivated peppermint, as did the ancient inhabitants of China and Japan, and it’s been used in European medicine and folk medicine for a long time. Wherever it’s used been medicinally, it has been for digestive problems, nausea and cramps. Peppermint has also been considered a visionary herb in the West and was believed to stimulate prophetic dreams and visions.
Headache: Topical – apply Japanese Mint alone, or with Lavender to the temples, forehead and back of the neck as often as needed. – Inhalation – apply 1 drop each of Peppermint, lavender and Eucalyptus to the palms and cup over nose and mouth to inhale as often as needed.
Fever: Topical – apply Japanese Mint alone , orwith Eucalyptus to the temples, forehead and back of the neck as often as needed.
Chronic Fatigue: Inhalation – place 2 drops Peppermint, to one palm, rub together with other palm and cup over nose and mouth to inhale as often as needed.
Congestion (Sinus): Topical – apply 2 drops of Japanese mint, or Eucalyptus or Blue spruce to the cheeks, nose, chest and upper back as often as needed.
Cough: Topical – massage 1 to 2 drops each of Japanese mint, Eucalyptus and myrtle into the chest and upper back several times daily.
